I'm not sure what I was doing yesterday that made me think of some of the words that have power every time I revisit them—I might've been automatic writing or guiding a client to a higher state of being, but the feeling trickled quickly and sparked that knowing. The words resonated in perfect timing, in unison with what I know to be true, this path, the change and unfolding that has been occurring faster than I am even aware.
Cloud Atlas—I admit the movie version is what I remember most, but then I Google and know the power whether it is the screenplay or novel. We can take any words and string them together to hit a nerve, just as a painter mixes colors onto the canvas. It's creative genius unencumbered—a flow of what wants and needs to connect to a larger world. And, these lines get me every single time:
"I understand now that boundaries between noise and sound are conventions. All boundaries are conventions, waiting to be transcended. One may transcend any convention if only one can first conceive of doing so."
"Our lives and our choices, like quantum trajectories, are understood moment to moment. That each point of intersection, each encounter, suggest a new potential direction. Proposition, I have fallen in love with Luisa Rey. Is this possible? I just met her and yet, I feel like something important has happened to me."
Simple words that say everything in just a few lines. I carry these words and many others with me as I sort the connections I have to the past, the now, the eternal. The words etched into emotional chambers, blossoming, expanding into wholeness.
What are some of your favorite lines?
Happy writing and tons of love!
